The Venue
Chimera will run at Motu Moana Scout Camp, in Green Bay, Auckland. It is located in Connaught Street and is 3km from New Lynn Transport Centre and Lynn Mall.
Catering on site
Kim Smits, the head chef at the catering company Gobble Platters, will be catering the weekend. She will be preparing warm, healthy food for Saturday and Sunday. Vegan and gluten-free options will be available. Breakfast will be $5 and dinners and lunches will be $7 per meal. Soft drinks and candy will be available also.

We are pleased to offer a special pre-pay weekend meal price: the whole weekend's meals for $25 if you pay before August 7th. Not only is this a saving of $6 off the full price, but it means you don't have to worry about cash on the day, and get to jump to the head of line!

Gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options are available. Please email us to let us know your requirements.

The draft menu is as follows:

Breakfast both days will consist of toast, sausages, eggs and porridge.
Saturday lunch will be stir-fry.
Saturday dinner will be a choice of roast vege pasta dish or a roast vege salad with roast chicken.
Sunday lunch will be make your own burger.

Costs
Chimera will cost as follows:
  • Full Convention - $50 (a $5 discount is available for nzLARPS members, as well as a $5 discount for payment before August 1st. These discounts stack)
  • One Day Only - $25 (no discounts apply)
  • The Great Exhibition only - $10 (no discounts apply)
Accommodation
There are 56 beds available at the venue. Accommodation is clean scout bunks, with access to bathroom, shower and kitchen facilities. Accommodation is free of charge but priority will be given for those coming from out of Auckland.

PRIZES
Prizes will be awarded for three major categories: Best Written Game, Best Roleplayer, and Best Costuming. These categories voted on across the whole convention by the players and GMs. There will also be a prize of Best Roleplaye and Best Costume for just the Great Exhibition. And of course, heaps of spot prizes just for being there, including nzLARPS memberships, DVDs, and movie tickets.
